Absolutely everything. Who is going to beat the Wanderers and how are they going to do it?

These are the questions we need answered quickly before the Finals Series turns into one big Wanderers love fest.

Western Sydney broke the Australian football all time winning record with ten wins in a row on Saturday when they accounted for Melbourne Heart in Melbourne.

The Mariners did what they needed to do to keep the dream alive even if its only for another week whilst everyone around them faltered. The two teams that end up filling those last two finals spots will fall into them the way it’s panning out.

These snuck under the Crossbar and into The Sack (Likes)

1. WSW winning ten matches in a row. UNREAL.
2. Wellington Phoenix winning on the other side of the world. Well, Perth.
3. Goalkeepers in Australia. We are in safe hands, so to speak; Coe, Theo, Ryan.
4. Perth’s new Stadium. Will look awesome when its opened.
5. Labinot Haliti. Scoring goals and keeping his top on.
6. Bernie Ibini. When he’s on song, he’s a very promising prospect.
7. Gol-Gol. Scoring great goal goals.

What went over the Crossbar (Dislikes)
1. Yairo Yau’s goal celebration. What’s up with that?

2. Perth Glory, Melbourne Heart and Brisbane Roar. Do any of these sides even want to play finals?
3. Stadium security and idiot fans. Enough said.

Too early to call:
The Mariners won’t want a final to come down to a penalty shoot-out.

Something we learned:
The final six works well when there is no relegation. Had it been top four then the last five rounds would have been very boring indeed.

Something we already knew:
Tony Popovic is ready to take the Socceroo job.

Hero of the Week:

Michael Bridges. Extends contract then scores.

Villain of the Week:
Simon Colosimo. Absolute warrior in Australian football, sadly time is catching up with him very very quickly.

This week’s prediction:
1. The Wanderers will lift the Premier’s Plate at home against Sydney FC this week. How sweet is that?
2. We’ll all be bored with only four games on.
3. Melbourne Victory will be lucky to field a side against the Glory.
