Oh, hello. That was a long time not to see each other.

You’re looking well.

Here in England the prospect of a national team game gets people almost as excited as I got when I was listening to the TFS podcast on the train, and Christian mentioned a Berbatov overhead kick that I thought only I remembered (got some odd glances from my fellow passengers).

The fevered, misplaced enthusiasm can be somewhat stifling when the game in question is actually important, moreso when Our Brave Boys™ are perceived to have a chance of winning. Acknowledgement that the obstacle to be overcome, whether it be Algeria or Montenegro or mediocrity, is at a premium.

So forgive me for occasionally using this site to sound off about the state of football on this curious piece of land that I live on, and thank you for your patience.
