A-League Lookalikes | No.1

-

Have you ever watched an A-League game and thought “hang on a sec, where have I seen that player before?”. The chances of Oliver Bozanic having played ‘The Sherminator’ in American Pie are extremely low, although they do share an uncanny resemblance.

Here at The Football Sack we’ve put together our list of which A-League and Australian Football personalities look scarily similar to other people out there in the big world, whether it be celebrities, cartoon characters or just random objects.

Here are this week’s A-League lookalikes:

Fez and Cassio

This is Adelaide United defender Cassio and Fez from That 70’s show. They were definitely split at birth.

Nestor Carbonell and Tarek Elrich

This one features Tarek Elrich of the Newcastle Jets and American actor Nestor Carbonell. This one is maybe not as clear cut as Cassio and Fez, but they do look similar.

Can you see it?

Carson Kressley and Bas van der Brink

Now, it might just be the blonde hair, we don’t know, but we see some sort of resemblance between Perth Glory defender Bas van der Brink and Carson Kressley, most famously known for his role in TV show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Thoughts?

Kyle Broflovski and Mustafa Amini
When he’s not tearing up defences in the A-League, Central Coast Mariners attacking midfielder Mustafa Amini plays a young Jewish cartoon character on the TV show South Park, Kyle Broflovski.

The Hood and David Basheer

You probably didn’t know it, but SBS commentator David Basheer was actually The Hood, a villain from the TV series The Thunderbirds. How has this news been kept secret for so long?
