That’s what I’m talking Nabbout. Victory win

-

The game started and ended with a bang. A bang on the head to benched Sydney defender Trent McClenahan as a wayward ball from a teammate hit the seated player on 8 minutes. Then two bangs from the boot of Nabbout to give Melbourne Victory the win over Sydney FC.
He’ll be the man Nabbout town in Melbourne this week.
Returning defender Pascal Bosschaart scored his first professional goal at age 32 to make it two nil in the second half but Victory would strike back three times to make it 3-2 on the final whistle. Melbourne deservedly take home the BeyondBlue Cup, leaving Sydney fans depressed at the thought of their teams chances this season.
The home side took the advantage first, scoring through Yairo Yao off a Blake Power square ball. That one goal lead was almost as exciting for the 21531 fans as the halftime entertainment where a Sydney fan successfully completed the ‘Crossbar Challenge’.
Keeper Ivan Necevski pulled off several spectacular saves but could not save Sydney from themselves. Substitutions by coach Ian Crook seemed to cripple the home side whereas the injection of Nabbout by Ange Postecoglou was magic for Victory.
Nabbout made almost an immediate impact and bent a goal of the week past Necevski to make the final 10 minutes highly entertaining.
Archie Thompson brought his Socceroos form to town, scoring from a header to level the game.
Nabbout then completed the comeback with a goalmouth strike making it 3-2 and another horrible night for Sydney FC.
