The Sack team picks its Sokkah XVIII for AFL

-

With the first match of the Brazil 2014 World Cup played just a few short hours ago it is really not that hard to convert that love and passion towards AFL fever…even for the staunchest of round ball loving hipsters.

If you’re a Soccer fan, don’t you feel just a little jealous that the best players from our sport can’t showcase their skills in a code that according to “Eddie Everywhere” is the BEST in the World!

Well, here’s our figurative chance.

With AFL being the world’s greatest sport [no small matter that the world doesn’t know it even exists] it made sense to choose a ‘Sokkah XVIII’ who could match it with the best on an oval pitch.

If you think that creating a team full of players from a different code with piss-weak reasons for player inclusions is ludicrous then just go speak to our friends at the Herald Sun who obviously know better than you.

We’ve selected the team with the view of using the popular 3-3-6-3-3 AFL formation, which is a tradition-focused setup used by every team ever that definitely doesn’t hint at a lack of tactical innovation in the sport.
