Japanese fans who turned up early on Monday morning at Goschs’ Paddock to catch a glimpse of Keisuke Honda would leave disappointed as Melbourne Victory trained behind closed doors at AAMI Park.

The media were only allowed to attend the first 15 minutes of the training session, as Kevin Muscat’s side prepared for their first AFC Champions League game against Daegu FC tomorrow.
