Macarthur FC a changed side for second Sydney test

-

Macarthur FC coach Ante Milicic will be looking for the Bulls’ first win against their crosstown rivals Sydney FC on Sunday at Jubilee Stadium.

Milicic will be looking for a different result from the last time they played against them which ended 3-0 to the Sky Blues against a 10-men Bulls.

“I thought we started well in that first 20 minutes and then obviously with Milligan getting sent off we went down a player”

“Still, we adjusted and then for 45 minutes we stayed in the game and actually created a few chances.”

“So, we’ll take some things from that outing but again both teams have changed somewhat since that game.”

The 46-year-old knows that the circumstances will be different this time around for both clubs.

“This time were playing at their ground. We’re coming off this result and they’re coming off a loss as well.”

“So, a local derby there’s that little bit extra in the game.”

However, Milicic will be focusing on getting the result and will approach it like any other match.

“For us it doesn’t matter who we play against whether it’s home or away.”

“We’ll go there looking to win the game and to dominate, so nothing really changes for us in that respect.”

Macarthur are currently in third place on a unpredictable league table so it will be a vital three points for the newcomers.
