Nananko Sasaki keen to get started

-

Japanese import Nananko Sasaki is looking forward to testing her skills at the top flight after signing for Adelaide United A-League Women this week.

Sasaki has impressed at Women’s National Premier League level since arriving in 2017 where she had stints at Adelaide City and Adelaide Comets.

Remaining in the city that some say has the best casino games, Sasaki is looking to further her career with the Reds.

“This is really exciting for me to progress as a footballer and I really appreciate this opportunity,” Sasaki said.

With the Reds still yet to claim any silverware in A-League Women, it could be a big smokie for anyone looking in Casino Australia.

Sasaki spent time with the Comets at the start of 2021 where she scored four goals in 24 games.

She’s also no stranger to individual and team accolades and she’s hopeful of being able to achieve that with United.

The Japanese star also feels like she’s realising a dream.

“Ever since arriving in Australia one of my goals has been to play in the A-League Women competition and I’m really happy that dream is closer to coming true,” she added.

“I can’t wait for the season to begin and I’m looking forward to working with Adrian (Stenta), his coaching staff, and a great group of girls.
