A-League All Stars jersey launched by stars

-

There was only one location which could have held the launch of the new Foxtel A-League All Stars jersey; Carriageworks.

The cold concrete walls mirrored by the rainy and melancholic atmosphere from the exterior of the building brought alive by three men wearing a blue and yellow kit.

A 34 year old midfielder who has clocked up 95 caps for the Australian National Team and can now be seen chasing a ball around a field for Sydney FC. A German with a softer side who enjoys philosophical literature, art and documentaries whilst still also creating the perfect bed hair look when playing. And Nikolai Topor-Stanley.

The jersey itself is created by Nike part of the Laser V range. Despite being plain and simple it design, that is a concept which Nike does very well in at the moment. The kits look basic so the football looks fantastic.
With the new A-League All Stars kits set to be worn when the squad comes up against the mighty Manchester United, Brett Emerton said this about his kit, “I have traded a lot of my jerseys over the years but this one I’m definitely hanging on to.”
Kitnerd Verdict: Having seen a lot of previous MLS (Major League Soccer) All Stars jerseys over the years and how over the top they can be, the A-League All Stars jersey is a good reflection of the competition itself. It is fairly straight forward and it isn’t fancy or over the top.
This is the type of jersey you could wear for years and it will still strike up a conversation. As long as the kit isn’t priced above $100, you can count on us being at the top of the waiting list for this great kit.
