In a strange twist of fate, Andrew Redmayne, who had for better or worse been in front of the RBB for over a season, is already excited at the prospect of being cheered on by a rival fan base. buy avanafil online avanafil online generic
Never embraced by Western Sydney Wanderers fans during his near two season spell, Redmayne has further distanced himself from those supporters by quickly embracing his new club Sydney FC and their own actives fans The Cove.
“I’m looking forward to this Sunday, but also playing in front of The Cove,” Redmayne said in his first interview for the Sky Blues.
After continued inconsistency in goals for the red and black, Redmayne found himself on the bench at the Wanderers this season behind former bench warmer Jerrad Tyson. The recruitment of former Sydney FC keeper Vedran Janjetovic meant he was likely going to be pushed out of the squad altogether and thus had to look for a new club.
“Sydney FC expressed interest, I was really excited and I’ve been warmly welcomed at the club. I think it’s worked out for the best for each party.
I guess it is strange [to sign for a rival], but it’s a fresh opportunity. I’m wearing the Sky Blue now and I’m fully committed to the morals and beliefs this team carries,” he added.
Though finding himself quickly pushed down the pecking order at the Wanderers, Redmayne still has a lot of respect for the red and black.
“Western Sydney is a fantastic club and I’ve got no hard feelings towards them or any individuals there,” Redmayne said.
He did admit however that he doesn’t expect the nicest of receptions come derby day, conceding hostility is likely.
“There might be, but I’ve got no hard feelings towards fans there – both fans are great sets of people,” he said.
Dropped by the Wanderers for a string of mistakes, Sydney FC fans aren’t all that excited about the signing of Redmayne.
So Sydney FC have signed Andrew Redmayne…
Was there no-one else? a junior maybe?

But the player himself is ready to improve now reunited with former goalkeeping coach John Crawley.
“I’m back working with John and Danny now and we’ve got a fantastic working relationship. I’ve already identified things I need to work on. Both John and Arnie have also identified things.
